Check Out a Meatout!

Check Out a Meatout!

Meatout began in 1985 as a grassroots diet education campaign to bring awareness to the benefits of a plant-based diet and promote meat and dairy alternatives for grocery stores, restaurants and other food service based companies. Today, hundreds of Meatout events are held annually on or around March 20th across the world. To keep the spirit alive throughout the year, Meatout Mondays have also grown in popularity and have even been adopted and encouraged by restaurants and cities like our own hometown of San Francisco, California! Keep reading for more details...

At WholeSoy, we support all the benefits of a plant-based vegan diet and also support the efforts and advocacy work of Meatout. In support, we are donating WholeSoy yogurt coupons to be distributed at several of Meatout events throughout the U.S.! We're also happy to report that we were inundated with requests to help participate at Meatouts this year! We met our donation quota less than 3 weeks into requests!

Locate a Meatout event happening near you by going to meatout.org and navigating to "Find an Event". Next year you can volunteer to host an event near you or start advocating for Meatout Mondays where you work, live or go to school.

Here you'll find pictures sent to us from the University of Las Vegas Meatout event on March 19th! Share your pictures from Meatout with us on Facebook or Twitter too! We'd love to see and hear how it all went for you!

Thank you, WholeSoy & Co., for participating in our recent March Meatout event here in Las Vegas. We loved handing out your coupons while promoting a more compassionate way of eating.
